Thank you for choosing Fable Forge. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account & Subscription Data

  • Anonymous User ID: We generate an anonymous identifier to track whether you have access to paywall–controlled content through a subscription or ad-based access.

  • Subscription & Purchase Records: We record purchase tokens and subscription status to determine and grant premium access.

1.2 Usage & Interaction Data

  • Ad Viewing Events: We track when you watch ads to grant one-time access or rewards.

  • Feature Usage: We collect non‑personal analytics on which stories you read, how often, and for how long, to improve the App.

1.3 Device & Local Storage

  • Local Story Storage: Stories you download are saved on your device. We do not transmit story content off‑device except for analytics events.

  • Crash Logs & Diagnostics: With your permission, we collect anonymized error reports to troubleshoot crashes.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Grant Premium Access: To verify and enforce subscription status or ad‑view entitlement.

  • Personalize & Improve: To recommend new stories and refine app performance.

  • Analytics: To understand usage patterns and enhance features.

  • Support & Communication: To respond to support inquiries and inform you about important updates.

3. Sharing & Disclosure

  • We do not share personal identifiers (e.g., email addresses, user IDs) with third parties for marketing.

  • We may share aggregated, non‑identifying analytics with service providers (e.g., Firebase Analytics, RevenueCat) to monitor performance and subscription metrics.

  • Legal Compliance: We will disclose information if required by law or to protect rights.

4. Third‑Party Services

Fable Forge integrates with:

  • RevenueCat for purchase and subscription management

  • Google Play Billing for in‑app purchases

  • Ad Networks (e.g., AdMob) for rewarded ads

  • Analytics Platforms (e.g., Firebase, Crashlytics) for usage and crash reporting

Each service has its own privacy policy; please review them directly.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption of purchase tokens in transit. However, no system is perfectly secure.

6. Children’s Privacy

Fable Forge is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under 13.

7. Your Choices and Rights

  • Opt‑Out of Analytics: You may disable anonymous analytics in the App settings.

  • Uninstall: Deleting the App removes all local story storage and revokes analytics.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We will post the revised date and notify you within the App.
